Why can’t everyday be like Christmas?

Have you ever seen a movie where the entire town has been brainwashed? They walk around like a robot in a trance-like state, looking crazy… Well, every year at just about this time, people that normally might not be so nice, start smiling, waving, wishing you well and basically skipping down the street! I live around a bunch of stuffy congress people, uptight lawyers and other people that literally will not acknowledge my good morning. Well, in the past couple of days, they’ve all turned into sweet, kind and considerate neighbors. The holidays definitely inspire many people to be kind to their fellow mankind. But why? If you’re a jerk, why not just be a jerk? I mean really, don’t use the holidays as an excuse to become decent. Isn’t this one of the great mistakes we make? If you’re one of these people that turns into a grouchy, mean spirited dud, indulge me and participate in this experiment. Be a bit nicer beyond January 1st! You’ll be surprised at how people respond to your kindness. Take a chance at living everyday like Christmas!

I had a wonderful Sunday. I finally got back to Church after a long, lazy break and then headed over to brunch at The Park Cafe with Alexander. It’s one of my little neighborhood spots that has delicious food and a real artsy atmosphere. I had a couple fresh squeezed Mimosas, A Kobe Beef Steak, French Toast and a Crab, Spinach and Mushroom omelette! Needless to say, it took me most of the afternoon to sleep off that food hangover…

It’s Monday and I’m headed up to DC 50 to meet with my crew about our Inauguration coverage. Isn’t that exciting?!

Remember this people, our thoughts are prayers and we’re always praying.. That basically means, if you think it and believe, so it will be. Dream big, stay positive!
