It’s Christmas morning honey buns! Did Santa show come to pay you a visit? What’d ya get? What’d you give? And what are you really and truly thankful for? Some of you might know that I do a big Christmas Eve dinner every year for my close friends and family. My party this year was really amazing. I woke up early on Christmas Eve and started by making my Christmas stuffing. Then I made homemade biscuits, cranberry sauce, a turkey, loads of yummy vegetables, pecan and coconut cookies and a few brown sugar pies.
My last guest left around 1am and I had a chance to sit by the tree with the soft crackling of the fire in my ear. I thought about life, my career, my family, friends and my personal goals for 2009. What makes this the best Christmas ever is that we’re still here to celebrate it! I never expect much for Christmas. In fact, I get great pleasure in providing a sort of Christmas wonderland in my home for all of the people that I love.
Having said all of that, I have to say that my Mom is the best Mom on earth. She layed out my Christmas tree with over 20 beautifully wrapped gifts just for me to open on Christmas morning!
I hope all of you enjoy your Christmas as much as I am!
Lots of Holiday love to you!
Paul xx
