I spent Saturday night at the annual event for area teens called Teens Count. It was held at D.A.R. Constitution Hall and the kids turned it out! The fashion, creativity and runway technique was in full effect! I was a judge at the event and my dear friend BJ Coleman from Kimora Lee Simmon’s “Life in the Fab Lane” hosted the event. Bj and I shared a dressing room and cut up throughout the entire event. Raine from WPGC 95.5 was a special co-host along with Glenn Jackson and I have to say I really enjoyed spending time with both of them.
After the event BJ, Donnell and I decided to check out the town to see what was poppin. We checked out Halo (a favorite of mine from my FabuList). We were suppossed to hook up with Caron Kressley but we really weren’t in the mood to go to a restaurant and sit down (after sittng for four hours at the event).
Today, my Mom is coming to give me love and motherly support. We’ll do a nice long walk and maybe brunch at Peacock Cafe. I’m going to work a bit more on my new projects, spend some quality time with my dog Oscar and have dinner with Alexander. Monday is just a day away and I have to get back to the grind. I’m going to do some work planning my trip to LA for The Grammys and the NAACP Awards. We’re planning on throwing a fabulous party for Tichina Arnold (from Martin and Everybody Hates Chris) to honor her for being nominated for an NAACP Image Award.
What are you all up to today? I’d love to hear from you.
Big Kiss,
Paul
