Oscar Night in Potomac…

My best friend Mary asked me to come out to her to watch the Oscars and drink champagne. Joelle and I arrived to find Mary dressed like she was nominated for an Oscar! She is such a wonderful, dramatic, loving and fun best friend. I love her!

First off, Hugh Jackman was on fire! Wow, what a talented man. I think this is the best Oscar show in years. Why was Reese Witherspoon wearing that dress? Will Smith’s hair glistened a bit too much… Eddie Murphy looked great, I was a bit surprised that Taraji Henson and Mickey Rourke didn’t win take home the Oscars in their categories. 

I loved Beyonce’s performance. That woman is a force. Her performances are always flawless and she looks amazing! I really liked how they used all of the previous winners to present the nominations and the winners. Slumdog Millionaire hurt everybody’s feelings and took everything home but the kitchen sink.

My week is all about my DC 50 projects! Interns, TrenDC, shows, it’s all so exciting!
