The saga continues…
Wow! Who knew that my interview with the Wizard’s wives would be so popular. I’m not sure if you all heard, but Barack Obama was at the Wizard’s game last night. I received another interesting post that has me thinking. I’m going to post it and wait for more comments to roll in…

Also check out this story on Gilbert Arenas and Laura Mendoza-Govan. Paul, when you asked Laura how long she’s been here and what does she do for a living, her response wasn’t accurate. She didn’t tell you that she’s been staying in her 3 bedroom condo in San Ramon, CA, when Gilbert kicked her and the kids out of the house in 2007-2008. Also, she helps run her family business Kimball’s Carnival in Oakland, Ca. Her name is on the Liquor License for the State of California. Although she’s been hoping for that engagement ring for the last 6 years after chasing Gilbert down, it doesn’t offically make her a Wizard Wife yet, nor does Ariane.

Laura mention that she was here back and forth with family and friends for 5 years to cover the fact that she and Gilbert weren’t really together the whole time. See her plan was to get pregnant by him in the first place so she would have some ties to his money. Their first child was born in Dec 2005. The below article doesn’t sound like Gilbert was in any relationship with anybody.

Arenas’s focus on becoming one of the top players in the league keeps him confined mostly to his home in Great Falls. He spends most of his free time playing the video game Halo on his Xbox. Arenas said the only time he went out this season was when he went to a club to celebrate the playoff berth with his teammates.
“I can go out in the summer. That’s when all the nice girls will be out anyway,” Arenas said. “I want to stay here in the summer, sight-see a little bit and get familiar with the city because I’m going to be here a long time.”
