Greetings Fabulous Folks! Have a good week? I sure did!
As some of you may know I am hosting “Couture for a Cure”, a fundraiser and fashion show benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It’s being held on May 7th at the uber chic Peacock Grand Cafe. Today I met with Nadine Namoff, wife of DC United’s Bryan Namoff - and, of course, fabulous in her own right! We had a great time discussing the benefit and fashion show and we’re both so excited about it. I always welcome the opportunity to give back for a cause I believe in, and this definitely fits that bill. To purchase tickets please visit http://nca.llsevent.org/pledge/index.cfm?mid=COUTURE4CURE. I would really appreciate your support in this cause… And I promise you’ll have a fabulous time at the event!
Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the Cherry Blossom Parade this weekend. I’ll be in St. Michaels, MD for some much needed R & R as I gear up for Spring events. Sometimes you gotta take a moment out for yourself and I love doing that at the Eastern Shore. It’s less than two hours away but it’s a whole other world. I’ll be back by Monday and geared up for Spring.
What are your plans for the weekend? Spring cleaning? Packing up winter clothes? The beginning of the 2nd quarter of the year is always a good time to start changing out your wardrobe from winter to summer. Make sure you take your cashmere and wool to the cleaners before you put it away so that it stays clean and fresh for next year!
Now’s the time to try on your favorite summer fashions and make sure they still flatter your figure. You still have time to do something about it if they don’t!
Be happy, be safe, and don’t forget to tell your loved ones that you care. Have fun!
Paul Wharton xx
